A Few Members of the Pacific-Asian
Legal Studies Organization

The Pacific-Asian Legal Studies Organization (“PALSO”) is committed to
developing an understanding of
Pacific-Asian cultures and legal systems among its members, fellow students and
the community at large.
To promote educational and work opportunities in the Pacific and Asian areas,
the Organization sponsors a series of
lectures by speakers from the local bar and academic community as well as from
Pacific Rim countries and the mainland.
Extracurricular activities include support activities for the Pacific-Asian
Legal Studies (“PALS”) Program at the School of Law
and an annual Chinese New Year party.
For the first time, PALSO will also offer a summer abroad grant for the
2008 summer term.
